Hi, I'm Anissa!
Let me start off by saying welcome, Iām glad you stopped by! My name is Anissa Saxton, engineer (GO JACKETS!), lover of cakes, and obsessed with flamingos. Engineering A Cake is based in Vinings, GA and is a website I created to showcase my love for baking. That's inclusive of cakes, cupcakes, pies...the basics, I guess you could say.
I first started baking through a local craft store class and have since learned different techniques through lots and lots of youtube videos and social media inspiration. All of my cakes and desserts seen here are homemade, sometimes even down to the sprinkles. I hope to not only showcase some of my cakes here, but also help others. In my blog, you can find some of my favorite things, tips and tricks that have helped me along the way, and some insight into an engineer's mind on all things sweet.
